Siriusmo has been in the game for years now, releasing mixtapes, handfulls of EPs, and remixes. Finally, in 2011 the Berlin based DJ/Producer released his debut full length, Mosiak through Monkeytown Records and it’s damn near perfect. Every song on 17 track album hits hard with heavy synths and filtered kick drums. It was difficult to choose which song to feature. “Nights Off” with the slow 97bpm beat orientated sound, “Feromonikon” with that Boys Noize like synths, or would it be the opening track, “High Together”?…I ended up choosing a nice little track titled, “Einmal In Der Woche Schreie” which translates to “One A Week Screams”. I love the chopped and skrewed vocals and the distorted synths, reminds me of an offspring of Mr. Oizo and Boys Noize. In my opinion, Mosaik completely dumps all over Egyptixx’s Bible Eyes.
